Abstract Drawing

A 20th-century style of painting in which non-representational lines, colors, shapes, and forms replace accurate visual depictions of objects, landscapes, and figures. The subject is often stylized, blurred, repeated, or broken down into primary forms to become unrecognizable. Intangible subjects such as thoughts, emotions, and time are often expressed in abstract art forms.

Fine Art

Abstract drawing does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect.
